Q: Will a wind generator using this type of motor power my house?
A: No. While the output from this motor can charge and maintain a bank of batteries, this is not sufficient to power an entire home. You can however use this to charge a bank of batteries which powers an inverter for backup power, run small appliances, computers, etc.

Q: Do I need a charge controller for this?
A: Yes. A charge controller is an important part especially if you are charging batteries. Without a charge controller to regulate the charge, you risk destroying your batteries, fire, etc. A charge controller is important and must be purchased separately.
